This flat was our first home together and we’ve absolutely loved living here. This part of Enfield has a great community feel and Glenville Avenue is especially a lovely quiet and friendly street. We both work in the City so Gordon Hill train station is conveniently located just 10 minutes walkaway and then it’s only 25 minutes into Central London. Enfield Town train station is also close by as an alternative commute. Hillyfields is practically on our doorstep and we’ve been able to enjoy many long walks, jogs and picnics there, with Forty Hall also nearby. The location is fantastic for walking to Enfield town (just 15 minutes), plus so many food stores, coffee shops and pubs on the nearby high streets. I’ve spent a lot of my maternity leave at the local Italian cafe which is perfect for meeting up with friends, and Chase Side also has some great new restaurants where we’ve enjoyed many lovely meals. We’ve loved renovating the flat and garden over the last few years and it’s now such a lovely cosy home for our little family. We will be so sad to leave but hope someone else gets to enjoy it as much as we have!
